Fishing Trip On Lake Nasser In Egypt
Nile Perch Fishing Safari
In the 1960s, a dam was built on the Nile at Aswan, resulting in Lake Nasser flooding more than 6200 km over more than 550 km of the Nile valley in southern Egypt.
Desert and wild, this region of Nubia is sparsely populated. Only fishermen stay with their traditional rowing boats and nomads including their herds of sheep, their dromedaries feeding on the low vegetation near the water. The wild fauna is rich and varied, as the famous crocodiles of the Nile, the reptiles, and more than 100 species of birds have been recorded in the area of the lake, transit point for migrants and winterers.
Fish populations of the original river system have flourished in their new habitat: tilapia and its predators, Nile perch, tiger fish and great catfish, globe fish, etc.
Our fishing trips are potentially the opportunity for anglers to catch their largest "wild" freshwater fish in their lives.
In the heart of these vast areas of natural beauty, banks with a diversity of desert landscapes, hilly, with sandy parts (dunes), they often live an adventure that they will never forget.
